Personal projects

Tools I’ve built for lawyers

All tools

I came across a lot of contract drafting tools, and some of them cost a lot for reasons best known to them. So I started building my own, in my spare time. All six are free to use.

Contract drafting

Vora

Describe the deal in a sentence and Vora drafts the agreement. Ask for a clause to be changed and it changes only that clause. An add-in for Word on the web brings the changes back as tracked changes.

Contract negotiation

Negotiate the Deal

A short game about negotiating a software contract when the business has already promised a launch date. It takes about five minutes.

Leaving a contract

Early Exit Cost Calculator

Enter the exit terms from two drafts and see what it costs to leave the contract in any month.

Liability caps

Liability Cap Calculator

Enter the cap from two drafts and see what each is worth if something goes wrong in any month.

Data privacy

Play the DPDP

A short game on applying the DPDP Act. You join a made-up company as its first privacy counsel and handle 18 realistic situations. It takes about 15 minutes.

Contract renewals

Notice Date Tracker

Add your contracts and it works out the last day to give notice, then puts the reminders in your Google or Outlook calendar.
